Madrid did not invent flamenco, but it reinvented it. This route takes you through the places where Gypsy art took root in the capital, from the legendary tablaos where Camarón wept for bulerías to the graves of the icons who made flamenco a universal language. You will walk through the Madrid that transformed the cante jondo into everyone's heritage.
